Quick Installation Guide

Prerequisites
Microsoft Windows Version

Installer is verified with Microsoft Windows 10 Version 1809 (OS Build 17763.503). So before we start to install, we should check target device Microsoft Windows version.

Step 01

Please right-click on button when context-menu was shown, please click Run.

Installing Client Service

If target devices have installed earlier version, please reference Uninstalling Client Service section and uninstall previous version. When you are sure, target device is clean without previous version, you can follow below steps to continue installation.

Please right-click on installer executable file when context-menu was shown, please click Run as administrator.

Server Website

The Renity Sentinel Server Website allows you to monitor and manage the Client Devices. Renity Sentinel Server Website provides a web based interface compatible with most popular web browsers such as Google Chrome and Internet Explorer. It’s recommended that you have the latest version of these browsers for best compatibility.

Registration

Before you register your target device on Renity Sentinel Website, you should get your target device MAC address.
After you have installed Renity Sentinel Client Service, you can find a R icon on the right bottom of your Windows desktop.

Please click R icon.

Please click Export MAC Address To Excel File button.

Please choose excel file target location, enter excel file name and click button.

Please open MacAddress.xlsx file, to copy target device MAC address.

After you have exported target device MAC address and copy your target device MAC address, you can open browser and enter: http://sentinel.renity.com.tw/

If this is your first time browsing this website, please click new user? create new account.

Please fill in each field of the registration form. Please paste target device MAC address to the specific field, after you have finished, click I agree to the EULA and Privacy Policy.

After you have read End User License Agreement, you can click Close button and click Save button to finish your registration
